Marine Dimout Screens

Privacy Blinds for Cabins & Public Spaces

Whether you’re looking to shield passengers from the sun or create a controlled lighting environment on your vessel, dimout roller blinds are a great solution.

Unlike blackout screens they’re slightly transparent, allowing some visibility to the outside world and moderate levels of light transmission indoors too. They also reduce heat and block out dangerous UV radiation which is the main cause of premature fading of interior furnishings.

Solarglide offer two unique and distinctive fabric choices, which can be viewed below in the ‘Colour Collections’ section. The ROE collection is a PVC & polyester based fabric (with 3% openness) that is hard wearing, easy to clean and mould resistant. The CARNIVAL collection is made from recycled polyester yarns and is also suitable for moist marine environments.

Both Fabric ranges are IMO FR approved to standards BS5867, Part 2: Type B 2008 and specifically designed for offshore usage.
