Marine Emergency Services including Boat Police, Fireboats & hospital ships commission Solarglide Solar Screens Protection

The Commission

Land based first response emergency services are an essential part of our community, as they protect people in times of crisis, whilst saving lives whatever the conditions. The same needs apply to Maritime First Response Emergency Service ships and vessels as they navigate international waters. The Crew and passengers of emergency boat services may require additional critical services when an emergency arises at sea or when in port. Solarglide, would like to highlight some of the Sea based Emergency Service crews we have helped in recent months. Our solar products aim to make all internal marine emergency services environments more comfortable – as they perform their specialist training.   Antiglare blinds for extreme weather conditions

The Solution

Maritime First Responce / Water Police : Solarglide recently supplied blinds for 18No Police patrol crafts for the UK MOD and Gibraltar defence police (GDP).  Eighteen sets of 12 retractable LR type approved wheelhouse solar screens for a series of 15m high speed patrol vessels. Maritime First ResponseFire Boat : Solarglide, were involved in another exciting project in Asia for a 38m fire & rescue vessel. Hong Kong’s Fire Services Department (FSD) are making waves with the introduction of this revolutionary fireboat – the world’s largest self-righting vessel, marking a significant leap forward in maritime firefighting and rescue capabilities. Solarglide provided and installed 37 solar control screens, which are now securely locked in position should an emergency arise

Maritime First Response / Hospital Ship : Hospitals at sea are a vital part of the maritime rescue service, especially in times of famine, conflict or war. Hospital ships are designed and constructed to serve as a medical facility, much like land based hospitals, nursing homes, or other healthcare infrastructures. In other words, a hospital ship replicates a land-based medical facility, but sails from place to place across many oceans. Solarglide were pleased to supply 36 bespoke wheelhouse Antiglare solar screens for the Atlantic Mercy Hospital Ship, ensuring safe passage between ports of travel.
